More illustrator images

So, as promised, Here are my recent assignments in advanced digital illustration.....
So first, to test our abilities with gradients, she gave us a tutorial from vector tuts.com that deal with most of the effects of making gradients and adjusting them etc. and i made this happy creepy sun thing.
Creepy right? lol
the tutorial link is here so you can learn how to make him as well lol

Next on the list, She taught us how to use the blob brush in illustrator and had us each make whatever we wanted using the blob brush so by default i chose to make a zombie!
That was fun!

ok so today, we learned how to use the most amazing brush ever made for illustrator... The bristle brush!
Already having a bit of skill with painting, i think i picked up on this pretty well. The tutorial was made for an apple but i wanted to make something different so i chose to paint a mango lol
Prepare to be amazed!

Yea, its a freaking painterly mango done in adobe illustrator....
Thats right, your world has just been completely changed, like mine!
Enjoy!
More to come as i have more assignments done!

The process of progress

Ok so i figured i would add this up because it seems interesting. Right now, with my limited knowledge of Illustrator, my first real assignment was to make this
Seeing as I will be doing assignments in illustrator all quarter, I thought it would be fun to put up the images and see where the progress goes. Expect more to be put up weekly!

With that being said, ONWARD! TO ART!
We shall start with the collection of hearts!
The Jack!
The Queen!
The King!
All three were done with prismacolor markers, all shaded and the lineart was done with prisma color Pens and they were done at 14X18.

More Artwork will be posted as time progresses so keep an eye out!
